We're building Common Ground WiFi to provide consistent, reliable, high speed internet access for our students when they are not in a school building. This network will span roughly 40 square miles at completion and will offer connectivity to students from East Moline, United Township and Colona school districts. A trial phase is currently under construction in East Moline. As the trial phase is completed and tests are passed, construction will progress through parts of East Moline, Silvis and to Colona before turning back towards Silvis and East Moline.

There is no sign up process. Families do not need to register or sign up for this service. As the network builds out your students school issued devices will connect automatically when in range of the network. This network will be available to your students devices whether they are at home or riding the bus to and from school. School District devices will be set up to seamlessly switch between school district networks and Common Ground WiFi.
